XCM XFPS Live for Xbox 360

Been a pc gamer for years. I Could not get the hang of controllers for xbox so I bought the XCM XFPS LIVE and now I can play the FPS games with satifaction.

I bought this item to help with COD Black Ops online play, being as I am more of a PC gamer. Though I am decent with the xbox controller, the analog sticks are difficult to use and result in wildly variable performance. The XFPS live has phenominally improved my game play; primarily because it reduces variation in performance. Now I have consistently accurate shooting, fast snap-to targeting and precise staying-on-target. I also had problems using the analog stick buttons and with being unable to easily use all buttons on the right hand side of the controller (ever try shooting and going prone at the same time? Does not leave a finger for grenades.) The XPFS live allowed me to customize to the easier-to-use mouse and keyboard buttons. But the system does have its flaws. I got it working with a simple optical mouse and a fancy Alienware keyboard. However my fancy Alienware mouse did not work; mouse movements were interpreted as button presses. The mouse wheel defaults to Y button, but when customizing buttons, it changed to Dpad up and I was unable to remap it. The product also claims to work with Ps/2 mouse/keyboards, but only has USB ports. The biggest problem is lack of measurement markings on the XY sensitivity dials. I put some markings on mine, but it would be wise to fully measure and label the entire dial before use. This is a definate area of improvement for future models of this product. It took me many hours to get the XY settings just right. Because it is very difficult to move a mouse in only one axis (unlike the analog sticks), both X and Y need similar sensitivity. I had my Y lower than my X, which allowed for super-precise aiming, but caused sluggishness if I had to move the cursor more than a few cm. In order to correct this, I had to increase Y to the point where the cursor jumps about 1 cm sometimes, thus destroying the super-precise accuracy. Though with in-game targeting assist, the cursor does not jump when aiming at enemies. Despite all of this, I usually only die online when flanked or other unavoidable situations. In a head on fight, this system gives me the speed and accuracy to prevail most of the time. However it is not as good as a PC shooter. This system should be thought of like a handicap chair for people who have difficulty using console controllers.

before I got this I couldn't survive a single round in COD Black ops with my son, I'd get 2 kills maybe. then I configured the XFPS live and jumped to 43 kills in my first game and 12 kill streak personal record. Now he can't wait to play with his old man, I have always been a keyboard and mouse player, and now I can join my son in his conquests on the XBOX 360. This is the greatest thing to bring PC and console players together.

Works great. Easy setup and use. Was able to program my keyboard just the way I like it. Turbo function works good to. Just takes some tweaking with the mouse in the xbox settings and the XY pots. Pricey but worth it if your gonna make the move from PC to console and you still want to play like a pro.

I have been using this mod for the Tiger Woods 11 and it's working 95% better than the wireless controllers. You do need a wired controller, but easy to find online. Best to buy a refurbished one though, as you wont be using it after the initial hookup.

It 100 percent works! easy to program the set-up. Just make sure you buy an original WIRED controller. Default setting seem to be for COD but it is extremely easy to change keys on the fly. While it does do what it claims, there is a slight delay of response from the mouse. In my case also it sometimes jumps but over all you can deeestroy people if you are used to PC shooters like Counter Strike.
