Works Great! |

First off I am good at soldering, but when I first looked at the instructions, I was baffled. After opening my controller and reading the booklet a few times it all became clear. In my opinion unless you are good at soldering you should get Extreme-Mods (or someone) to install this for you, I had a friend who is an electrician do this for me. On the function It's Awesome! I use it for COD-4, and 5. when I first tried shooting a pistol at someone it unloaded into them like a machine gun. the reason i chose 4 stars is because I can't seem to get other battery packs to work with it and after my first use the little metal clip inside the XCM battery pack fell out. the only way i could get it to work was to try and drop the metal clip back down inside and wiggle it around until it went back in place, but it still works. Overall I am Happy with my purchase.
Extreme-Mods Response: Other battery packs should work just fine, we have several units here working off the rechargeable battery packs as well as the stock alkaline battery packs. As for the broken part, just contact us and let us know your order number and we will send out a replacement part. This is the first we've heard of a battery pack breaking, and we've sold thousands of replacement XCM brand controller cases over the last 3 years for the Xbox 360. So 1 out of several thousand isn't too bad of a defective ratio ;)

I have called numerous times and emailed even more. John and the other staff members have been more than helpful in answering all my question. thier customer support is top notch and there product is even better. when i asked questions about install not only did they forward me to there help board but they also answered my question in terms i could understand. the forum they sent me to was simply for future questions. i would highly recomend this product and company for anyone who is in the market.

I just wanted to say i've had some great dealings with Extreme-Mods in the past and even though i don't have the rapid fire gear yet, they do have my preorder. I have called them a couple times to ask them questions on when this product will be available and when my order might ship and the guy on the phone was extremely nice. I even talked to him for awhile about gaming in general and i'm really glad to report he was definately a real gamer. I know alot of other companies online just sell stuff and don't actually use it, but the people at Extreme-Mods really know their stuff. I highly recommend them for anything they carry and cannot see myself ordering from another site after dealing with this place. Great communication, and fast shipping, you really can't ask for much more than that.
